Proposal by Ken Craig/Lucia Mar USD for a Land Use Ordinance Amendment to allow for the redesignation of sixteen acres of the forty (40) acre site from Residential Rural (RR) to Recreation (REC) in order to accommodate a total of sixteen (16) residential lots. The remaining twenty-four (24) acres of RR to either Public faciltiies (for use by Lucia Mar Unified School District for a future Middle School [800 students]) or REC (for passive recreational use). The Black Lake Village Reserve Line (VRL) is not proposed to be extended to include the proposed REC zoning. The current designation og RR for 40 acres could result in up to 8 residential lots. The subject area is bordered on the south by Willow Road and on the east by Via Concha, immediately west of Black Lake Village, approximately two miles west of the community of Nipomo.
