Document Description
The project proposes a Major Use Permit to allow a bed and breakfast within the Monte Vista Ranch specific plan area in Ramona. Currently, other development applications (TM5235Rpl/R04-001/GPA04-01/SPA00-07) for the entire specific plan area including the Rancho Canada Bed & Breakfast are being processed by the Department of Planning and Land Use (DPLU). The bed and breakfast would occupy the existing ranch structures that were built on the property prior to 1936 and have recently been refurbished. A total of five units will be available for nightly rental. The proposal also includes the use of existing pool and various hiking trails and pathways through the Monte Vista Ranch property. Only minor grading and landscaping is required for project implementation. Parking will be within the project footprint and access to the site is through an existing driveway connecting to Chuck Wagon Road.
