The project involves remediation of contaminated soils in accordance with the methods and procedures presented in the Removal Action Workplan (RAW) prepared by ENV America (2003). Removal activities consist of excavation of approximately 3,000 cubic yards of impacted soils from the outside of buidling footprints at Parcels 815, 835, and 859, using excavators and backhoes to depths ranging from 2 feet to 10 feet and below ground surface.
