Document Description
The project site is located within a 2.16 acre residential parcel in the Monterra Ranch subdivision. During construction of the residence, approximately 84,000 cubic feet of fill material consisting of clean native soil originating from the site placed in a drainage swale. The swale provides hydrologic and biological function and helps prevent sediment deposition within the watershed. The proposed project would remove the fill, grade the area to pre-project topography, and replant the area with locally occurring native species. Near the downstream end of the swale, the drainage becomes more defined and passes through an earthen berm. At this location, the drainage banks would be graded to a slope of approximately 2:1 (horizontal : vertical) and rock-filled gabion baskets would be placed to stabilize the site and prevent erosion from occurring. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-5177-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
