Document Description
As part of the California Department of Corrections (CDC) Statewide Hemodialysis Strategic Plan, the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (CSATF/SP) the State Prison at Corcoran, proposes to renovate the existing flood service satellite (building #542) into a 19-station Hemodialysis Clinic to provide onsite treatment for up to 114 inmates with chronic renal insufficiency. The CDC annual unbudgeted costs for transportation, and medical guarding for taking inmates into the community for treatment averages $53,520 per inmate.

Furthermore, this project is not to expected to substantially change daily traffic activities, employment levels at the institution, or increase inmate population. The work is interior only and will not create additional dust or noise.
