Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Sothern California (Metropolitain) proposes to conduct annual maintenance activities within an unnamed drainage in Cajalco Canyon involving sediment removal and vegetation clearing. Regular clearing of this drainage is required in order to protect the integrity of the existing dam-failure detection equipment. All excavated sediment and cut vegetation will be removed from the site and hauled away to existing material disposal areas within Lake Mathews operations area. The annual maintenance work is expected to be completed with approximately three days of commencement. Construction equipment will typically include a backhoe and dump truck.
