The project consists of the potential acquisition of 2320 and 2322 Lincoln Avenue by the City of Alameda, either through purchase or eminent domain for public use as a parking lot. The structures on the properties would be demolished and added to the adjacent site of the proposed Alameda Free Library. The properties would be used as part of a surface parking lot for the library and make more effective the public library project.
