Document Description
The Multi-family Residential Design Guidelines (MFR Guidelines) define positive design attributes regarding the character of multi-unit and mixed-use buildings in unincorporated Marin County communities. They are also intended to assist applicants, staff, design review boards, and County decision-makers by clarifying design objectives used to evaluate multi-family developments. The MFRR Guidelines provide general design criteria that would apply in every type of community, including building proportion, scale, and relationship to the public realm, street frontages, building materials, outdoor space, lighting and landscaping.
