Document Description
Portola Minerals Company (doing business as Blue Mountain Minerals), hereinafter referred to as Blue Mountain Minerals, proposes to expand the existing Agricultural Fill area associated with its mining operation by including approximately 27 acres to the southeast, for a total expanded Agricultural Fill area of approximately 75 acres. The expansion would result in a portion of the fill currently proposed to be deposited in the "east fill" area of the excavated mining pit under the current Integrated Reclamation Plan, to be shifted to the proposed Agricultural Fill area located to the south of the "east fill" area. The total volume of fill material to be deposited on site would not change as a result of this project - only the location would change. In addition, current permitted operations at the quarry would not change as a result of this project.
