Document Description
The proposed site, located in the C-1/S-5 Neighborhood Business Zone, is at the corner of University Avenue and Bay Road. The site is formally the Latte Dah Cafe, where the main commercial activity was a drive-through coffee, pastries, and limited range of hoot foods. The applicant seeks approval of a Special Use Permit to operate a fast food Subway drive-through establishment in an existing 300 sq. ft. retail structure. Store hours will be from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m., seven days a week, with a projected total of five (5) employees for the daily business operations.
The maximum number of employees per shift is subject to Building Code compliance for the designated retail floor area which is 300 sq. ft. The existing access driveways to the site are proposed to be retained and will remain along Bay Road heading eastbound, and along University Avenue heading southbound.
Four off-street parking spaces are proposed to satisfy the parking requirements based on the total retail floor area.
