- The Modesto Irrigation District is constructing an expansion of the MRWTP. The City of Modesto is constructing and operating new water storage tanks, pipelines, and associated facilities to provide municipal and industrial water supply within the city. The project includes the expansion of the MRWTP and the construction of a storage reservoir, pump stations, transmission and distribution pipelines, and regulating valves.
