The County of Los Angeles proposes to construct and operate a new gymnasium/ community building at an existing public park (Colonel Leon H. Washington County Park). The project includes construction of an approximately 13,500 square-foot gymnasium building and community center building, renovation of the existing community building and courtyard, expansion and renovation of the existing parking areas, construction of a new group picnic shelter, and various landscaping and irrigation improvements.
