Document Description
Zone Change 169 and General Plan Amendment 01-04 is necessary to allow mixed use industrial lofts into the Light Industrial and Research M1 Zone with a conditional use permit. This action will promote growth and development in the Light Industrial and Research/M1 Zone in areas that have water and streets in place throughout the City limits and its boundaries. This action will amend the California City General Plan Zoning Chart Land Use Designations, to incorporate Residential Multiple Family / RM2 minimum floor space standards of 700 square feet for industrial lofts, into the Light Industrial and Research / M1 category under Consistent California City Zoning.
