Document Description
Proposed expansion (Phase II) of urban runoff collection area for the City's Urban Runoff Diversion into Wastewater System project. Construction of the Phase I system is nearly complete. The combined projects divert dry season urban runoff (potentially containing pesticides, fertilizers, animal wastes, automotive residues, and other chemicals) collected from storm drain outlets located along the Pacific Grove Shoreline between Lovers Point Park and 1st Street, into the regional sanitary sewer system, where it is conveyed to the treatment facility located two miles north of Marina.
