Document Description
The amendment will consolidate the existing limitations on the collection of tax increment and bonded indebtedness in the Project Areas, eliminate the annual cap on collection of tax increment in two of the Project Areas, and extend the time on the effectiveness. No new projects are proposed that were not previously considered under the existing plans. The Merged Redevelopment Program will enable the Redevelopment Agency to implement identified redevelopment activities with more expediency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
