The Cities of Sacramento and West Sacramento are proposing to widen the sidewalks on the Tower Bridge to accommodate increased pedestrian and bicycle use. Caltrans is the state lead agency and the Federal Highway Administration is the Federal lead agency. The existing sidewalks are not designed for mixed pedestrian and bicycle use.
