Document Description
SMUD is proposing to design, construct and operate of four independent neighborhood electric distribution substations and associated 69,000-kilovolt subtransmission lines. The proposed alignment, while generally similar, results in altered alignments for the subtransmission line in some areas. The proposed alternate route of the 69kV alignment would be located within the previously evaluated project area boundaries identified for the 2004 EIR, Greenbriar Development Project EIR, and the Metro Air Park EIS. The modified alignment would generally traverse in a southward direction towards SR 99, west along 1-5, and northwest towards Power Line Road.
