Document Description
The proposed project addendum would allow for an update to the closure date for the existing, operational Olinda Alpha Landfill. The closure date would be updated from December 31, 2021 to December 31, 2036. The landfill is taking longer to fill up than originally anticipated due to increased recycling and waste diversion. The project would not result in any other changes to the Strategic Plan for Olinda Alpha Landfill implementation for the landfill operation than that which was previously analyzed in Final EIR 588.
