Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (metropolitan) proposes to adopt a resolution to accept state grant money under the Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Program of the Safe Drinking Water, Clean Water, Watershed Protection and Flood Protection Act (Proposition 13, Chapter 7, Article 2) for the Lake Perris Pollution Prevention and Source Project. The Lake Perris Pollution Prevention and Source Project is a three-year project that would plan and design water quality improvement features at Lake Perris, a State Water Project reservoir in Southern California. This project is an element of a comprehensive solution Metropolitan is persuing to ensure maximum benefits of the water storage assets of Lake Perris. In accordance with the Water Resources Control Board grant funding procedures, Metropolitan's Board must adopt a resolution accepting the grant funds and designating the Chief Executive Officer to execute the contracts.
