Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is considering the approval of draft two Remedial Action Plan (RAP) Amendments, one for Area FM and another one for Area T, submitted by PES Environmental, Inc. on behalf of the Richmond Redevelopment Agency (RRA) and Marina Bay LLC (Penterra) pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 6.8, Division 20, California Health and Safety Code (H&SC). Area FM, a 4.4-acre parcel, and Area T, a 1.7-acre parcel, are part of site identified as the Marina Bay Project. If approved, these RAP Amendments would authorize Richmond Redevelopment Agency and Penterra to conduct activities associated with remediation of subsurface soil contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and lead at Area FM and with paint, paint debris, TPH and lead at Area T. The RAP Amendments were prepared in accordance with H&SC Section 25356.1(h).
