Document Description
The proposed project consists of the expansion and remodeling of an existing one-story, 24-foot-high, 37,422-gross square foot (gsf) Safeway Store (constructed in 1971), by adding approximately 17,145 gsf for a total of 54,567 gsf. Both the interior and exterior of the existing store would be remodeled; the building would be brought up to current codes and standards; the landscaping, lighting and parking lot would be upgraded; and the loading and service areas would be screened from adjacent neighbors.
