The Rio del Oro Specific Plan consists of a mixed-use development project on 3,828 acres. The Specific Plan would allow for the eventual development of 11,601 residential units, commercial and industrial uses, park and recreation facilities, roadway and trail improvements, as well as the establishment of a wetland preserve. The Project entitlements approved at this time are the Rio Del Oro Specific Plan, Amendment to Aerojet Special Planning Area, and Tier 1 Development Agreements with Aerojet-General Corporation and Elliot Homes Inc ("Tier 1 Entitlements").
