Document Description
The remediation project proposes excavation and transport of contaminated soil to an offsite facility for treatment and disposal. The proposed removal of contaminated soil will be conducted in accordance with the methods, and procedures presented in the document entitled "Removal Action Workplan (RAW)." Approximately 6,000 tons of contaminated soil which is found in the top one to sixteen feet at twelve individual potentially contaminated areas across the site will be excavated and transported to a state approved treatment facility in Adelanto. Following successful completion of the removal action, excavated areas will be backfilled with clean soil.
