Document Description
NOTE: Revised
Granite proposes to increase its permitted mineral reserve within the existing mine plan footprint (Phases V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX), continue processing asphaltic concrete as allowed under 03-CUP-00000-00024, and import additional quantities of aggregate to extend the life of the hot mix plant and recycle construction/demolition recyclable material. These actions would effectively extend the life of the mining and asphalt concrete facility operation to ~100 years while also assisting the County of Santa Barbara in achieving statewide recycling goals.
