Phase 1 and 2 were rewarded funds under the Proposition 50 Program. Phase 1 consists of construction of a new transmission water main that will connect CVWD to an existing Los Angeles Department of Water and Power water main. Phase 2 consist of construction of new chlorination station and new transmission water main to allow water flow control to be improved from CVWD to Foothills Municipal Water District Berkshire Booster Station.
