Document Description
The County is proposing to widen a 1,800 ft. segment of Bethel Rd. by up to six feet in order to install Class 2 bike lanes (both sides) between Vineyard Drive and Las Tablas Rd., and to construct a pedestrian pathway on the west side of Bethel Rd. between Templeton Hills Rd. and Las Tablas Rd. in the community of Templeton. The widening requires extending an existing culvert by approx. 20 ft. in a seasonal stream. These improvements will improve the safety of the roadway for bicyclists and pedestrians, and will increase sight distance and safety for all road users. The total area of disturbance is estimated to be 45,000 sq. ft.
