Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations to determine the properties of the earth materials and conditions at the proposed site for the Vistor Center at Donner Memorial State Park. The subsurface investigation will consist of 4-6 borings, to a depth of approximately 25-30 feet, within the building footprint, to evaluate facility foundation and earthwork requirements. These borings will be supplemented by 3-6 sampled test borings to a depth of 5-10 feet, in the proposed parking lot and access road locations, to evaluate pavement subgrade conditions.
