The purpose of the Confined Animal Facilities Element is to provide for the design, construction, operation and management of animal confinement facilities in Glenn County for the protection of the quality of the environment, safeguarding the health, safety and general welfare of the population and providing for the continuation and growth of animal-related industries in the County.
