The demonstration project would involve the release of up to 75,000 acre-feet of State Water Project (SWP) supplies from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's SWP supplies for banking within the Mojave Water Agency. The Mojave Water Agency would return SWP supplies to the Metropolitan Water District by exchange in future years.
