Document Description
The project consists of a request for a Modification to Conditional Use Permits No. 92-3 and 97-1 to grant United Rock Products Corporation the following: (1) Approval of a time extension from 12/31/03 to 07/01/04, for the continued mining of Pit #2, as per the conditions and restricitions imposed by CUP No. 92-3, as modified by CUP No. 97-1 and Modification No. 2-01 to CUP No. 92-3, and precluding any excavation in any of the 100-foot setbacks required by the Irwindale Municipal Code, with the condition that this time extension will be superseded by new conditions and restrictions at the time of approval of Modification No. 2-02 to CUP No. 92-3 currently being processed and expected to be approved between May or June of 2004; and (2) Approval of a Reclamation Plan for Pit No. 3, requiring to fill the Pit to a level ten feet above historic high water level and with no additional entitlement rights beyond those approved by CUP No. 92-3, with the condition that this Reclamation Plan will be superseded by the one currently being processed concurrently with Modification No. 2-02 to CUP No. 92-3.
