Document Description
To continue application of an aquatic pesticide to 3 of its reservoirs in Riverside County. Metropolitan currently applies copper sulfate on an as-needed basis to control algal blooms. The General National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit expires on January 31, 2004. The SWRCB has notified interested parties that it intends to develop a new general NPDES permit for application of aquatic pesticides to replace the expiring General Permit.
