Specific Plan 247 (Menifee East), Amendment No. 1 proposes to amend the current specific plan by incorporating 1 commercial area of 14.3 acres, 1 school/day care of 14.8 acres, 9.8-acres of parks, 52.2-acres of lakes/greenbelt, 20.7-acres of open space, 228 acres of single residential dwellings ranging from 6,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet, 9.8 acres of multi-family residential, and 42 acres of roadways. The amendment would increase the school site by 2.9 acres, decrease the residential component from 1283 to 1158 as well as adding the lakes.
