The purpose of the Project is to optimize the use of limited water resources for the production of agricultural crops or liverstock, to prevent crop damage or lost agricultural productivity in 2003, a year of low water deliveries. The beneficiaries of the Project will be historic recipients of Madera Irrigation District water service on previously farmed lands within Madera Irrigation District, Madera County, Californina.
