The objective of the Area I and II Landfill Investigation is to assess the cause and extent of sinkholes in the Area I Landfill cap in accordance with the requirements of the Ventura County Environmental Health Dept., Local Enforcement Agency (VCEHD/LEA), Corrective Action Order (Jan. 23, 2001) and to assess the contents and the extent of the Area I and II landfills.
