Document Description
Watershed Science is contracting with C12 Restoration to restore a 198-foot section of an ephemeral stream, which is tributary to the San Joaquin River, because the channel had to be excavated following an accidental fuel spill on Highway 168 near Shaver Lake. Restoration includes stabilizing the channel by creating a riffle pool complex, installing bank revetments, placing instream large woody debris structures and 200 pounds of rock/foot of streambed, mulching for erosion control and planting riparian vegetation using genetically local propagules.
