Current land use for the Project site is open space and grazing. The site is zoned Exclusive Agriculture (ARE-40).
Madera Quarry, Inc. is proposing a new hard rock quarry and associated processing facilities in central Medera County. The Project would be located on approximately 131 acres of the 540-acre Madera Project site, a privately-owned parcel currently used for rangeland cattle grazing.
