Addendum No. 2 to the City College of San Francisco 2004 Facilities Master Plan EIR

Addendum No. 2 addresses a proposed change to the CCSF 2004 Facilities Master Plan EIR, which involves necessary additions and revisions to the designs, locations, and/or functions of the Arts Center (now known as the "Diego Rivera Theater Building" or "ORT" ), the Child Development Center (nka the "Child Care Center'" or "CCC"). and the Advanced Technology Learning Center and Administration Building (together nka the "STEAM Building"). The revised ORT would be reduced in size from 170,000 GSF (4 stories+ basement) to 75,000 GSF (3 stories + partial basement) and be located on the mid-eastern instead of the south-eastern portion of the Balboa Reservoir parking lot. Functions would include a 400-600 seat auditorium with associated support spaces. The revised replacement CCC, to be located along Judson Ave. would slightly increase in size from 9,000 GSF (1 story) to 9,800 GSF (1 story), and would add 25 vehicle parking spaces, 2 ADA spaces, and 25 bike spaces. The revised STEAM Building would consist of one 150,000 GSF building (5 stories, up to 75 ft), instead of the two separate 3-story buildings (32,000-50 ,000 GSF and 80,000 GSF) previously proposed. The building would serve as an anchor for the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math programs.
