Document Description
Conditional use & coastal development permits for the development of a RV & camping resort on the property known as APN520-142-09. The applicant plans to develop the park in 3 phases within 3 years. The ultimate goal is 148 RV sites, 10 tent sites & 9 cabins (167 units). Phase I will have 47 RV hook-ups (pull through sites) & will include the development of restrooms & shower, a covered picnic & gathering area, a snack bar, & other commercial services such as recreational rentals & firewood sales. Phase II will include 36 more RV sites (back in sites) + 10 tent sites. Phase III will include an additional 65 RV spaces + 9 cabins, a convenience store, a small cafe, cocktail lounge & pool. The portion of the parcel located in the Coastal zone will be developed as an open recreational area with putting green & pond. The parcel is 27 acres in size & served by community water & on-site sewage disposal. All structures will be designed in accordance with the State & National Parks Architectural Character Guidelines to help them blend in with the Redwood State & National Parks' theme nearby.
