Document Description
Coastal development & conditional use permits for the development of a 16,660 square foot concrete & metal framed building to be used for storage of fly ash, in addition to asphalt paving of 2.66 acres. The proposed building will be 160 feet by 75 feet & approximately 45 feet tall. The asphalt surface will serve as an impermeable cap to cover the existing bottom ash, as required by the NCRWQCB. The 2 parcels are owned by Eel River Sawmills & operated by Fairhaven Power Co. in the generation of electricity. The asphalt are will also serve as a wood chip storage area. Together, the 2 parcels equal approximately 34 acres.
