Document Description
The project site consists of approximately 29 acres located within the 714-acre I-205 Corridor Specific Plan area. The original Specific Plan designated approximately 76 acres as Light Industrial, including the subject property. The project site is the last remaining portion of the Specific Plan's Grant Line Planning Area that is designated for industrial uses. The project site is bordered on the south by developing commercial projects, and on the north and east by developing automobile sales and services facilities. The proposed project would amend the Specific Plan and General Plan to redesignate the allowed uses from industrial to commercial, and approve development of a retail grocery outlet on the southerly 10.5-acre portion of the project site.
