The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to rehabilitate 9.4 kilometers (5.8 miles) of State Route 145 in Madera County by overlaying the roadway with asphalt concrete and widening the shoulders. Additional improvements would include replacing the Cottonwood Creek Bridge and upgrading the left-turn lanes at Avenue 6.
