Document Description
The County of Imperial, as operator, is proposing to construct a solid waste limited volume transfer station at the Bard Road Yard. Picacho Solid Waste Site is currently accepting waste & is expected to close in the near future. The transfer station would be used in lieu of disposal operations at the Picacho landfill & would be used to transfer municipal solid waste (MSW) generated by local area county residents to the 40 cubic yard bins which would be hauled by a bin hauling truck to another designated landfill site in Imperial County.
