- Document Description
- The Goleta Slough Tidal Experiment will create two small tidal basins by excavating portions of larger non-tidal basins, and installing culverts that connect to tidal channels. Each experimental basin would be located adjacent to a "control basin". This experimental design will enable the Airport to assess the effects on the bird strike conditions at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport.
