- Document Description
- The project involves the seismic upgrade and modernization of the existing Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital (SBCH) facility to comply with State Senate Bill 1953. The project will involve the demolition of 270,000 sq ft and the construction of approximately 472,450 sq ft of new hospital facilities, consisting of a main hospital building, helipad and Central Plant. When completed, the overall square footage of the hospital project area would be approximately 712,550 sq ft. Two multi-level parking structures are proposed.
