Document Description
The proposed project involves the expansion of the existing Arroyo Vista Elementary School from grades K-5 to grades K-8. The school site is approximately 8 acres with a 3 acre joint use park immediately adjacent to the school. School expansion construction will occur in 2 phases. The project is broken into 2 construction phases. The 1st phase will consist of the placement of a modular unit with 11 classrooms on the southwest side of the school site. The 2nd phase will include the placement of 2 additional modular units, with 20 classrooms, & the addition of accessory support structures for the creation of a middle school campus. The 2nd phase of construction will also include the expansion of the existing parking area to include 40 additional parking spaces & an expanded student drop-off area.
