Document Description
The project includes construction of a turnout on an existing pipeline (the Elsinore Pipeline) into a concrete-lined portion of the existing Lake Elsinore Outlet Channel. The project will require a concrete vault (9'L, 7'W, 9.5'D) and approximately 38 feet of reinforced concrete pipe. The vault will be set flush with grade on the unpaved road adjacent to the Lake Elsinore Outlet Channel. The pipe will start at the new vault and terminate in a lined portion of the Channel. The purpose of the project is to provide a permanent discharge point for tertiary effluent from the EVMWD Regional Plant to Lake Elsinore as per an existing NPDES permit No. CA8000027, Order No. 02-8, Amending Order No. 00-1.
