Remove marked trees on 45 acres in Plumas Eureka State Park to prevent the outbreak of bark beetle, reduce risk of catastrophic wildfire, prepare for implementation of prescribed fire, and mimic composition, structure, and function of Sierran native forests. Work will entail hand feeling trees and mechanically removing logs.
