Document Description
The proposed project involves the routine annual dredging of excess gravel from the channels of Mill Creek, McClure Creek and Howell Creek, all tributaries to Russian River. Gravel extraction activities are proposed at four sites for the purpose of flood maintenance. The existing box culverts fill with gravel each winter season and need to be dredged in order to prevent flooding of adjacent roadways and residential sites. Operator proposes to extract about 200 cubic yards a year at each site. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1147 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
