Document Description
The proposed project would use sacked concrete to protect the bank from further erosion. A trench would be dug in the channel along the toe of the left bank using a Bobcat loader or hand labor. The bags would be staggered to form a wall with a slope of approximately 2:1 (horizontal:vertical). The wall would be approximately 85 feet in length and would follow the natural sinuosity of the channel and would be keyed into the bank at the upstream and downstream ends to reduce the chance of being washed out during high flows. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0466-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
