Document Description
An ephemeral stream originates in rolling hills and oak woodlands before tributarying to the Salinas River northeast of Paso Robles. The proposed project would involve installing a hardened crossing to allow vehicular traffic to access both sides of the creek. The crossing would be constructed of either articulated concrete block (ACB) mats or an Arizona-style concrete crossing. The sandy bed would be excavated to accommodate the crossing, the top of which would be installed at the current stream bed elevation. No work would occur when water flows in the stream. No riparian vegetation would be affected by the project. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0512-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
